Colonization

The process of trying to establish a new colony while imposing new beliefs, values and attitudes on the existing culture.

Consensus

Group solidarity or general agreement.

Culture

The customary and shared beliefs, attitudes, values, goals, practices, social forms and material traits of a religious, racial or social group.

Custom

Refers to traditional Aboriginal practices and beliefs.
